| The Shane
Hammond Believe Foundation kicked off its fund raising efforts
with the FIRST of what will be an entertaining year of Potato
Sack Racing. Potato Sack Racing (PSR) was the name of Shane's
first suit which looked like burlap and his sense of humor took
it to the next level as to have PSR embroidered on his racing
suit.The Racer's Expo was the perfect venue to introduce this
fun event and many jumped right in (pun intended). SHBF hopes to hold a race at each NEMA event this season. We can have race teams compete against each other or with another team. We would like to get the fans involved too. Racer's and crews, you can design your own potato sack or we can design it for you. You can keep it in your trailer and at each event chose a lucky boy or girl in the stands to compete. We want to increase awareness about the foundation and broaden the NEMA fan base. The entry fee is whatever you care to donate.. $1.00 or more. So be on the look out for more fun and excitement at your local track with NEMA and the Shane Hammond Believe Foundation. |
